Hi ladies! Welcome to Week 2 of the Dangerous Prayers P31 OBS. I’m Alicia Hunter, your study leader this week.
Take a deep breath and close your eyes for a second. How are you doing? How are you really doing? The shrinking of my world due to COVID-19 makes me feel a little isolated and uneasy. I’m thankful you, my P31 OBS friends and community, are here with me for this study.
Dangerous Prayer:
This week, we continue to focus on the dangerous prayer, search me. We will learn that when we build strength to pray this prayer, God lovingly reveals areas in our lives where we need to grow. We also, however, need to have the courage to take action.
Memory Verse:
How are you doing so far with memorizing our first verse?
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24 (NIV)
Last week, I took Kendra’s advice to start memorizing a few words a day. What a great tip! It helps me slow down and focus on God’s actions: search me, know my heart, test me, know my thoughts, and lead me. This verse teaches me more about God’s character and how He shapes me into who He wants me to be. This week, let’s continue to build on what we’ve learned.
Weekly Video:
In today’s P31 OBS video, President of Proverbs 31 Ministries Lysa TerKeurst and author Criag Groeschel share their personal experiences with praying search me. Let’s learn from them!

Study at a Glance:
Here’s the Study at a Glance calendar again in case you missed it last week. This will help keep you on track. If you haven’t already, be sure to download and refer to it as we go along.
