It’s the last week of study! Can you believe it? Before we get rolling, let’s reflect...
- Think back to when you started five weeks ago. How’d you feel? Where was your prayer life?
- Now consider where you’re at today. How are you feeling? How have you/your prayers grown?
- With your answers in mind, what can you use to help propel you through this final week?
For me, it’s remembering my initial excitement at learning to pray in a more impactful way, then realizing I now almost know everything I need in order to do so. THAT has me jazzed to keep going!
Study at a Glance:
You’ve made it this far, don’t stop now! Take the time to glance at and prep for all that’s in store for Week 6. And don’t forget to include time for verse memorization!
STUDY AT A GLANCE
Memory Verse:
Have you committed all three verses to memory? If you’ve nailed them, I’m celebrating with you! If you’re still working on them, I’m cheering you on! And if you haven’t gotten started, I’m here to encourage you it’s not too late!
What better verse to remember than the one that has us saying “send me”? Write Isaiah 6:8 NLT down on a notecard. Then personalize it on the other side, take it out and pray it daily:
Lord, I, (insert name), hear you asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I say, “Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8 personalized)
Dangerous Prayer:
Last week, we learned four important aspects of “send me.” This week, we wrap it up with four more:
- We need spiritual nourishment because what we feed grows.
- Doing one thing daily that takes faith changes the way we live.
- Devoting our body to God energizes, empowers and emboldens us to do God’s will.
- Openness is the essence of having a heart God can use.
Weekly Video:
We don’t just get to hear from Pastor Craig in our reading! He's back with Lysa and Melissa to chat about two specific types of “send me” prayers that help us pray beyond us. Plus, two challenges for when we’re done with Dangerous Prayers.
Here are instructions for accessing closed captioning and the transcripts, if needed.
We’ve got what we need. Let’s make it the best week yet!
