The Lord is My Shepherd

October 2, 2017
Finding I AM

Hello, it’s Angela back with you one last time, as we wrap up our I AM statements for this week. I hope, like me, you’ve made some new connections on how Jesus is both our Gate and our Good Shepherd.

We’ll be sharing the next video session clip taught by Lysa TerKeurst. We’re watching Session 4 today, where Lysa brings to life all we’ve learned this week.

In today’s video clip, Lysa is teaching on a mountaintop in the Judean hills of Israel. It’s in these mountains where Lysa weaves the Scriptures and imagery beautifully together on how a Good Shepherd takes care of his sheep. Ultimately, it's where Jesus reveals:

“I AM the good shepherd.” (John 10:11a, NIV)

Reflect and Respond:

The Good Shepherd has good plans for us, but we have to let Him lead us. Is this something hard for you to do? What have you learned through these “I AM” statements to help you with letting go and allowing Him to lead you?
