Hi, Brandy here. I’m thrilled to be your Week 3 study leader!
So far, we’ve learned what God can do and how valuable we are even though we fail. Let those words sink in: We are valuable even though we fail. Thank you, Lord!
What other truths will God teach us about our potential? He’ll reveal them as we continue in the study. Yep, we gotta keep going to find out, or we’ll miss out!
We can do this, ladies. You with me? Good. Now let’s jump in!
This Week’s Topic:
Remember when we asked y’all before the study started which of the four F’s causes you to struggle to see/believe your potential the most? Overwhelmingly, the most common answer was this week’s topic — fear! And I have to say I agree! Guess what, though? Wendy Pope, author of Hidden Potential, shows us it’s okay if we sometimes feel fear, and that fear doesn’t have to stop us from reaching our hidden potential. It didn’t stop Moses or others in the Bible who stepped up to their callings.
Wow! All I have to say is "Bring it, Chapter 3!"
Weekly OBS Video:
Let’s listen in as Wendy and Kendra talk about Wendy's biggest fear and what we can do when fear tries to overtake us.
Here are instructions to access closed captioning AND the video transcripts if you need them.
Verse of the Week:
God’s Word is the answer to all of our struggles, including fear. This week’s verse tells us what the psalmist David does when he’s afraid:
“When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3 (NASB)
Learning to trust God turns our focus away from our fears. I love this!
Study at a Glance:
Remember, you can always double-check our Study at a Glance to see what’s going on in the study and where to focus during your study time. We hope you’re finding it to be a helpful study tool!
