Hi! My name is Kendra, and I’m on staff with Proverbs 31 Ministries. I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of each other over the next six weeks because I’ll be studying right alongside you.

Let's have some real girl talk about the Bible for a second. Has there been a time when you’re reading the Bible and you ask, “Does this even apply to me?” I mean, it’s 2019. For example, we’re not doing animal sacrifices anymore, you know?

Sometimes I need other people’s insight and expertise to help me see just how relevant the Bible is. And guess what? We are doing exactly that in our optional teaching series made to complement our upcoming Psalm 23 OBS.

In the Encountering Jesus in the Psalms Teaching Series, we’ll spend time with King David, learning which psalms he wrote, and when and where he wrote them. We’ll study the historical context of the book of Psalms and encounter God in new ways, together.

Throughout the series, we’ll get to hear from author Jennifer Rothschild, P31 OBS biblical content specialist Wendy Blight, First 5 writer Karen McNary and author Wendy Pope. They’ve got some great insight, and I think we’re all going to have a fun time together.
