Time for some R & R! {Week 4}

"Time for some R&R" |P31OBS Week 4 | #TrustworthyStudy #P31OBS

Hey, ladies!

It’s Wednesday again, and today we get the opportunity to slow down to share a little reflection and revelation from the week!

I’m a new homeschool mom and part of our music curriculum is learning the time signature of the notes AND the pauses between them called "rests." Rests are important in music for several reasons, including musical interest and feeling. Depending on the instrument, the musician can use those rests to take a breath before continuing the musical selection.

We can do the same in Bible study! Today is your chance to take a moment to “rest”  to take a breath, reflect and connect on what we are learning this week. Feel free to use any of the prompts below, or choose your own. Reflection time is flexible like that.

  • Thinking back on our theme for the week, Trust > Fear, share about a time when you made a choice to trust rather than fear.
  • Author Lysa Terkeurst asks a great reflection question in Trustworthy on Day 2: “How do you typically react at first when an attack comes your way?
  • On Day 3, Lysa states that “God’s people have no need to fear because He is our deliverer.” Share about something God delivered you from or out of.

Recently, I heard a great point  revelation comes from rest. I pray that today’s rest day provides nourishment for that revelation to happen.
