Happy Week 2, friend! I’m so excited to be here with you and cheer you on.
First, GO YOU for getting through Week 1! Seriously. You signed up & you showed up. That’s a big deal. Now it’s time for another week!
So what can you expect in Week 2? Fewer chapters, that’s what! But I do know that you might be catching up from last week and that is totally fine. I tend to fall behind, too, and that’s the beauty of OBS — there is grace upon grace. Even though there are only two chapters this week, notice I didn’t say light-hearted chapters.
To be honest, even though I'm naturally extroverted, I still find it hard to walk into a room and not feel out of place at first (I tend to fake it until I make it). I’ve also had my fair share of trust issues so this week is about to be “one for the books.”
But before we start reading, let’s watch this week’s video! For closed captioning:

If you can’t view the video above, watch here on YouTube.
Can I get an amen to this week’s Verse of the Week (VOW)?
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, NIV)
God is for you. He’s our #1 fan. And nothing anyone does, says or texts can do anything to make God fall out of love with us. Like Melissa Taylor said, “We have all we need (from God) to live loved.” Cue sigh of relief, right?
Okay, so let’s start Week 2. Below is your Weekly Lowdown with EV-ER-Y-THING you need to know. It’s your one-stop shop! We like to make things easy around here.

Reflect and Respond:
Observe — Chapter 4 this week is titled, “Alone in a Crowded Room.” What is your favorite icebreaker when you’re in a crowd of new people? I love asking people what their favorite emoji is ... ha!
Bible — In your OBS Journal, write the Verse of the Week (VOW) in your favorite translation. Sit and really let this verse soak in today. You have a fan and He is the biggest fan of them all.
Stretch — Which is your favorite translation to read our VOW? Mine is The Message, and my favorite part is when it says, “And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen?” It makes me feel loved and protected. How does the verse make you feel?
