Hey there!
It’s with great honor I get to welcome you to the official start of our NEWEST study: The Answers to Your Deepest Longings: 40 Days Through the Bible. My name is Kendra Schwarz, and I’m on the Online Bible Studies team!
Week 1. Day 1.
Take a deep breath in.
And let it out.
There’s something refreshing about the beginning of something new. There’s energy and excitement that’s unlike anything else. I want to congratulate you for showing up today! We’re about to embark on a journey that’s never been done before in the history of Proverbs 31 Ministries. You’re here for a specific reason.
Maybe you’re here because a friend invited you (shout-out to your friend!)
Maybe you’re here because you stumbled upon a Facebook post, and it intrigued you.
Or maybe you don’t know why you’re here.
What I know to be true is there’s something very specific for you in this study. No matter how much you read or how many questions you complete, the work you put in will be worth it. The Scripture you read won’t return void. It will accomplish what it needs to accomplish (Isaiah 55:11).
Here’s what you need for a successful week!
This Week’s Longing:
Have you ever felt like you were meant to do something? Maybe you've wondered to yourself, “There has to be more to life than this.” Well, let me tell you. There’s a specific reason God dreamed us up and set us in this very specific time and place. Our longing for purpose and belonging will be revealed to us in the pages of the Study Guide as we start at the very beginning of the Bible — Genesis.

Please note: In today’s email we listed Genesis 1:31 as today’s reading. We recommend reading Genesis 1-2 in its entirety to kick off the study.
