Moving Forward in Faith

December 15, 2017
5 Habits Online Bible Study

Hey! Kendra Schwarz back with you and WEEK 5 is here!

Now, Chapters 9 and 10 are a few of my favorites! We get to practice the fifth and final habit Nicki gives us and it is a game changer! So without further ado here it is:

She moves forward in faith.

This habit is all about hope. Sometimes life happens and we can feel a bit discouraged. Habit Five is a great reminder that we can still move forward in our faith even through the difficult times. And here’s the best part: we can move forward in faith knowing God is guiding our steps of obedience. Ruth is a great example of this and she reaped some BIG rewards for living out this habit! You go, Ruth!

Below is our final video from the Fixer-Upper Farm and just you wait for the Real Life Happenins … you might want to duck and cover!

Like Nicki Koziarz mentioned in the video, this week’s Bible verse sums up the 5 Habits book so well!

“So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” – Galatians 6:9 (HCSB)

Doesn’t this verse give you hope? When we continue to do good, God rewards us and we’ll reap at the right time. How inspiring to know Ruth stuck through the good and bad and now is going to reap the rewards! That can be you, ya know!

To wrap up, we’re equipped with Habit Five, we know our Bible verse and have watched the last 5 Habits video … so download the Weekly Lowdown and let’s finish this Bible study strong!

Weekly Lowdown

Big thank you to our leaders for leading us through this study! They have done such a great job and I’m so grateful to work alongside them! The leaders wrapping up this study are: me, Stacy Lowe and author of #5HabitsBook, Nicki Koziarz.

Reflect and Respond:

Observe — You know in the video when the Quit Coach says, “I am a woman who doesn’t quit!”? Well, it’s your turn to shout it out. So go ahead and declare, “I am a woman who doesn’t quit!” Your study leaders from P31 OBS are cheering for you!
Bible — Look at this week’s verse: Galatians 6:9. Another word for reap is receive. Knowing this, what does it mean in your own life to “reap at the proper time”?
Stretch —Now that we know all 5 habits, which one do you feel you need to work on a little bit? Write this habit down in your OBS Journal!
