Hi! I’m glad you’re here to wrap up Week 5 with me. 

Way back in Week 1 of our study, Brandy asked us the question: “What’s one change you hope to make in yourself or your relationships through participating in this study?”

God gently reminded me of my answer to that question this week as we learned that some goodbyes are for a season while others are forever. My answer to that question in Week 1 focused on the change I hoped would happen in a relationship. But after reading and praying this week, I realized the change needed to occur in me. That is, actions I need to take to honor God.

This nugget of truth from Chapter 10 shifted my thinking: In every goodbye, we can honor God in how we move through the goodbyes.

I love how Lysa provides us with both personal and biblical examples of what it looks like to honor God with our goodbyes. It was exactly what this girl needed! 

In today’s teaching video, Lysa dives a little deeper into the lives of people in the Bible who have had to say a hard goodbye. This is so helpful as we continue to learn how to honor God in all of our relationships.
