Hi Hidden Joy OBSers (our fun name for all of you joining us in Online Bible Study)!

While we’re waiting for our study to begin, I thought I’d share about the other half of what we do here. Yes, we’re all about Bible study. But here at P31 OBS, we’re more than just another Bible study. We’re a community.

So when we invite you to join our study, we’re inviting you to join our community too. A community of women from all over the world who, just like you, are here to find “hidden joy in (their) dark corner,” through “the transforming power of God’s story.”

How do you connect in community? Here are the top 3 ways:

1. Blog Comment Section – This is a great place to get started in community! Our blog posts have a “Reflect and Respond” prompt for you to share about in the comments. But to really start connecting, we invite you to read and reply to a few other comments as well. It’s through those interactions where connections begin — where our perspectives are stretched, we discover we’re not alone, and encouragement and Truth are spread. We have an entire dedicated team to meet up with you, so we hope you’ll join us here!

 

2. Facebook Community Group – We have a whole extra group set up with the main purpose of community. If you’re on Facebook and wanting opportunities beyond the blog for connection, this private group is for you! Study leader Stacy Lowe and her team have been hard at work prepping engaging posts to take you deeper into Hidden Joy and community. And they, along with thousands of other women doing this study, can’t wait to join you there and start connecting!

3. Facebook Small Groups – If having a smaller group of women to connect with regularly and get to know throughout the study is your thing, then you’ll want to consider adding this option to your study. Each of our private groups are led by a trained P31 OBS volunteer and have up to 20 study participants. These leaders have also been working hard, preparing to welcome you into their group with posts that create a deeper study and community experience. But don’t delay to register. Our limited groups fill up fast!
