Welcome back, friends! So glad you’re sticking with us.
Phew, Week 1 was tough. But also amazingly good. The mixing of Wendy’s story with God’s Truth has been the soothing balm I didn’t know my soul still needed. How about you?
And last Friday’s blog? Powerful. I hope Wendy’s call to stand on God’s Word was motivating to you as well. Learning to stand on His Word is exactly what we’re going to continue to do this week, by studying the characteristics of God and the power and purpose of His Word!
Your Study Resources & Memory Verse:
To help prep our hearts and minds for another week of study, Wendy Blight’s back in our Week 2 video. This time, she’s sitting down with Lisa Allen, her dear friend and Executive Director of Ministry at P31, to chat all about questioning God, learning the character of God, trusting God and being angry with God. Let’s tune in!

We also have you covered for planning your week! Remember, your Week at a Glance is THE resource for helping you stay in the know and on track. It’s where you’ll find your suggested daily study schedule, and this week’s giveaway information and verse memorization tip.
Guys, if we want to stand firm on God’s Word, we’ve got to get it in our hearts and minds, so let’s get to memorizing this week’s memory verses:
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 (NIV)
Another great way to stand on God’s Word is to spend more time in His Word. And what better way to do so than by digging into each week’s Bible Study Companion? This week’s lesson will be available for you to grab and do in the Wednesday blog.
Alright guys, that’s everything we need for another successful week! Now let’s go and begin to unfold God’s story with Wendy in our Hidden Joy books, so we can: get to know His character better, begin to get beyond all our “Why, God?” questions and stand firm, together, on His Word.
I’m in this with you!
Kat
