Hey there! I’m Angela Diemer, one of your study leaders for Mom Set Free by Jeannie Cunnion. It’s surprising how one book can speak to so many different scenarios. Whether you’re expecting a child or you're a mom of babies, or maybe your children are teenagers or adults, this study is good news for us all!

Do you tend to overcompensate or hover over your kids? Or have you ever pushed something under the rug because you just didn’t know how to fix it? Or maybe you’ve thought this: I need to be more _______ (fill in the blank) to be a better mom. Just so you know, I’ve done all of these!

But as our study leader team met together each week to prepare for this study, I realized: I don’t need to be more of something. I need to receive more of God and what His Word says. The constant striving to be more-than or less-than can be exhausting, but we don’t need to chase that lie of perfection any longer.

The Truth, God’s Word, sets us free to be the moms He already knows we are capable of being. When we understand what God says and how to live that out, we will create a ripple effect of freedom for our children and their children to come. This is more than just change for us; this is a generational movement!

Whether you work outside of the home or stay at home, being a mom is a gift from the Lord.

“Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.” (Psalm 127:3, NLT)

We may not get a lot of applause from the world, but God sees us. Don’t let the lies of the enemy, others or even your own thoughts deter your heart anymore from being the mom you were created to be.

This is a study for you and God to heal your heart so that you can fully love and fully lead your children well. Living under God’s grace is the best place to be and I’m so excited to experience this study with you.
