Hi, friend! Welcome to Week 2 of Pointing to the Promise. Last week, we saw how all of God’s promises were fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. But He wasn’t just any person. He was and is the Son of God, born to be the Savior of the world. Pretty incredible gift, right? But it’s not one to be passively received. Instead, it requires a response from us, and that’s just what we’re going to learn about this week. Are you ready? Let’s begin!
What to do this week:
Complete Week 2: Days 6-10 in Pointing to the Promise.
Answer today’s Moment of Reflection question (see below).
Read the wrap-up letter in your inbox on Friday.
Moment of Reflection:
This week, we’ll take a look at how different people in Scripture responded to God’s call on their lives. When God speaks to you, how do you tend to respond? Do you take Him at His word and act, or do you hesitate to follow through?
Feel free to come back and share below any thoughts or insights you have throughout the week!
Freebie of the Week:
Responding to God first requires hearing from Him. Have you ever wondered how to do that? If so, this week’s freebie podcast on how to hear God’s voice is just for you. Enjoy!
Prayer to get you through this week:
Heavenly Father, as I step into this new week, help me be alert to all You are doing in and around me. May I be sensitive to Your voice and choose to respond in faith to whatever it is You may ask of me. Thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
See you back here on Friday!
