Hi, friend, and welcome to Week 4! This one is all about one of my favorite words: hope. But we’re not talking about the kind of hope the world offers. This is something far greater, and it’s ours because of the incredible gift of Jesus. Could you use a little hope right now? I know I sure could, so let’s dive in together!
What to do this week:
Complete Week 4: Days 16-20 in Pointing to the Promise.
Answer today’s Moment of Reflection question (see below).
Read the wrap-up letter coming your way on Friday.
Moment of Reflection:
This week, we’ll dig into the heart of the Christmas story, including the angel’s announcement of Jesus’ birth to nearby shepherds. Think about that for a second … God chose people society looked down upon as the very first to hear the news that our Savior had been born. What kind of hope does that offer you today?
*Feel free to come back and share below any thoughts or insights you have throughout the week!
Freebie of the Week:
Isaiah 9:6-7 is an Old Testament prophecy of the birth of Jesus. Here, we’re told He will be known as Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, and Prince of Peace.
This week’s freebie will walk you through those names and show you how Jesus fulfills each and every one of those roles. You’ll also find a prayer to go along with each. Enjoy!
Prayer to get you through this week:
Heavenly Father, life can be hard, but because of Jesus, I always have hope. Help me cling to that this week, no matter what may come my way. Thank You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
See you on Friday!
