Happy 1st Day of Bible Study!

September 29, 2017

Hello! Welcome to Worthy: a P31 OBS based on She’s Still There by Chrystal Evans Hurst. We're so glad you're studying with us!

I'm Melissa Taylor, and it's my honor to get you started in Week 1 of our study. Are you ready? Let's jump right in!

The first thing we'd like for you to do is join Nicki Koziarz, Kendra Schwarz and me in the video below to learn what's going on this week. (Note the special appearance by our author Chrystal Evans Hurst, plus two new gals, Betty Bummer and Worthy Wanda.)

If you can’t view the video above, watch here on YouTube.

LOL, right? The first time I watched that video, I had to pause it because I was laughing so hard. Poor Betty Bummer. Good thing she has Wanda in her life! And how about the "Chrystal's Still Here segment?" We'll get to hear from our amazing author once a week! How awesome is that?

As mentioned in today's video, we have a few accessories to help you each week. One is the Study Companion. This is where you can find everything you need for each week, all in one place. If you're wondering what chapters we're reading this week, check out your companion.

Study Companion

Another accessory is an optional Bible study written by Sarah Travis and yours truly. We've taken the Scriptures Chrystal shares throughout the book and put together some Bible activities and lessons to help God's Word come alive in your life and provide you with some Bible study skills you can use during this study and beyond. This Bible study was written and designed with you in mind. Work at your own pace and enjoy the time you spend in God's Word.

Bible Study

A little word of advice: Try not to overcomplicate things. Do what you can, when you can. This Bible study needs to fit your life! Enjoy Week 1 of #ShesStillThere!

Reflect and Respond

Do you find you're naturally more of a "Betty Bummer" or "Worthy Wanda?" In other words, are you usually the one needing the encouragement or giving it?
