Lord, I’ve noticed what my life feels like when I don’t make time to be with You. I’ve run to other places and things to satisfy me, but You’re the only One who can. Your Word says You alone satisfy the thirsty and fill the hungry with good things (Psalm 107:9). I’m grateful for this true reminder that You are the Living Water that always replenishes the dry and distant places of my heart. You are the Bread of Life that will always sustain me (John 6:35). Help me to remember this when I am tempted to wander from You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.
